AREAdaptive Range Engine

Range & mean-reversion

A range and mean-reversion engine. When price oscillates instead of trending, it fades the extremes back toward equilibrium. It is the natural complement to ATE — when a trend breaks down into a range, ARE picks up exactly where the trend follower steps back.

What it does

Works the range

When price oscillates instead of trending, it fades the extremes back toward equilibrium.

Complements the trend engine

When a trend breaks down into a range, ARE picks up exactly where ATE steps back.

Self-tuning, every bar

Re-optimizes its own configuration for the symbol and timeframe in front of it. No presets to tweak.

How it is built

Self-tuning, every bar. ARE carries a space of possible behaviours and lets the live data choose the one that fits the instrument in front of it, re-optimising its own entry, exit, and risk rules for each symbol and timeframe. Adaptation, not a fixed preset.

Learned from data, off-chart. Before it ships, the engine is studied across years of history and hundreds of instruments to learn which setups produce the highest-quality trades — and hardened so the edge holds on markets it has never seen. Those findings shape its defaults.

Honest by default. We publish what a tool does, never the internals that would let it be copied. Read the full approach →

Performance · in validation

AREgets no performance numbers on this page until its backtest is finished — done the honest way ATE’s already is: real data, drawdowns shown next to returns, execution costs estimated, the weak cells left in. That report is published here before ARE is ever offered for sale.

No cherry-picked numbers, no fantasy win rates — just the full matrix, when it is ready.
